Graduated in LAW. Born on 5th December, 1926. Educated at A.B.I. College, Allahabad and Allahabad University. Enrolled Advocate of the Allahabad High Court on 27.8.1951. Practised for the first 3 years on the Criminal side and afterwards on the Civil side including Writs and Company matters. Appointed Additional Judge, Allahabad High Court from 6th August, 1973. Appointed permanent Judge from 4.8.1975. Appointed Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court on 26.4.1988.
