On Apr 18, 2014, Hon'ble Dr. Justice Dhananjaya Yashwant Chandrachud, Chief Justice inaugurated Information Kiosks in the premises of Allahabad High Court.
On the occassion, Hon'ble Judges of the Committee constituted by Hon'ble the Chief Justice to streamline the cause list and devise measures including making available the cause list to litigants and advocates in the electronic format were present besides other Hon'ble Judges, officers of the Registry, office bearers of the Bar Association and other stake-holders.
Advocates can now print brief details of their cases listed in different cause lists of future dates imediately after publishing of the same on the official Website of the Court in a receipt format from Information Kiosks using SmartCard specially designed for the purpose which is required to be subscribed.
The facility of e-cause list will also be made available through SMS & email on subscription of the facility.
Advocates will now be extremely benefited as it will reduce the burden of searching their cases in different cause lists manually and save their precious time as consolidated summary details of their cases listed in different cause lists of future dates published on the official Website of the Court will be available in all the alternative modes i.e., through SMS, email and any of the information kiosks installed for the purpose.
The newly launched citizen centric services are in addition to the existing services available free of charges on the official Website of the Court and information kiosks installed in the premises of the Court.
