Graduated in Law.
Born on October 9th, 1936. Practiced as
Advocate on Civil, Criminal and Revenue side from 1959 to 1966 at Nurpur
and Dharamshala. Joined Punjab Judicial Service in March, 1966 and after
about 6-7 months, was allocated to Himanchal Pradesh of the Re-organisation
of Punjab in November, 1966. Promoted to Himanchal Pradesh Higher Judicial
Service in February, 1979. Worked as Additional District & Session Judge,
as Secretary, Himanchal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha, on deputation and as
District & Session Judge. Worked as Legal Remembrancer cum-Secretary (Law)
to the government of Himanchal Pradesh at Shimla. Worked as Presiding
Officer, Labour Court/Industrial Tribunal, Himanchal Pradesh at Shimla and
Judge, Employees State Insurance Court, Himanchal Pradesh, Shimla. Worked
as Registrar, Himanchal Pradesh High Court at Shimla. Appointed as
Additional Judge of the Himanchal Pradesh High Court from September 12th,
1995 and transferred to Allahabad High Court from September 29th, 1995.
Appointed as permanent Judge of the Allahabad High Court on September
11th, 1997. Retired on October 9th, 1998. |
