Notice
- Earlier, a Final Seniority List of 12884 Eligible Advocates, who are members of either or both the High Court Bar Association (HCBA) and the Advocates’ Association (AA), was published (on the official website of the High Court, as List I), on 24.06.2026.
- Upon examination of that Final Seniority List (List I), the essential details of 2133 number of Eligible Advocates was found deficient on various counts, and a separate Deficiency list of 2133 Eligible Advocates was uploaded (on the official website of the High Court, as List 2), on 24.06.2026.
- Eligible Advocates, whose names were included in List 2 i.e. the Deficiency List, were provided an additional opportunity to cure the deficiencies, through the link www.allahabadhighcourt.in/advocate/advch/ from 06:00 PM on 24.06.2026 to 05:59 PM on 27.06.2026. Upon receipt of further request from the High Court Bar Association, that last date was extended till 05:59 PM, on 03.07.2026.
- In the meantime, the High Court Bar Association vide letters dated 30.06.2026 and 04.07.2026, supplied two more lists of 1971 members and 282 members respectively, with a further request to incorporate those Eligible Advocates, below the Final Seniority List published earlier, in that order of their inter se seniority.
- Upon due consideration, the request of the High Court Bar Association was accepted by the High Court and a Final Seniority List (Consolidated) of 15137 Eligible Advocates has been prepared.That Revised Final Seniority List- List A can be accessed through the hyperlink created with same name at the end of this Notice.
- Also, despite incorporating all the data received from individual Eligible Advocates as well as from the respective Bar Associations i.e. High Court Bar Association and Advocates’ Association, to cure the deficiencies/duplications as noted in the Revised Final Seniority List (List A), it has been noted that data of 758 Eligible Advocates is incomplete, as on 14.07.2026.
- Therefore, a list namely ‘Revised Final Deficiency List’ has also been prepared which can be accessed through the hyperlink created with name ‘Revised Final Deficiency List- List B’, at the end of this Notice.
- Accordingly, 10639 out of first 11000 Eligible Advocates from ‘List A’, whose data have been found complete/correct i.e. excluding those Eligible Advocates included in the List B, can register their application through the Integrated Advocates’ Chamber Allotment System (IACAS) Portal in ‘Phase I’, from 06:00 PM on 17.07.2026 to 05:59 PM on 24.07.2026.
- Remaining Eligible Advocates, included in the first 11000 Eligible Advocates in List A above and whose names have been placed in the ‘List B’ on account of their data found still incomplete/incorrect, shall temporarily be unable to register on the IACAS portal during ‘Phase I’. However, they would be entitled to register on the Integrated Advocates’ Chamber Allotment System (IACAS) Portal in ‘Phase II’, (subject to their data being corrected/completed, in the meantime) with full protection of their rights to allotment in terms of their seniority position in the Revised Final Seniority List (List A).
- Thereafter, remaining Eligible Advocates included in List A shall be allowed to register, in order of their inter se seniority in List A, to fill up remaining available chamber slot/seats, further subject to deficiency, if any, being removed.
- Accordingly, all Learned Advocates included in ‘List B’ are requested to get their data corrected/cured through their respective Bar Association, now i.e. before completion of Phase I. Failing that they may remain blocked and thus ineligible to apply for allotment of the chambers.
- All Eligible Advocates are requested to ensure that they hold a dedicated bank account in the High Court Branch of State Bank of India. To assist them in opening a bank account, a dedicated helpline no. 0532-2622770 is also being offered by the High Court, only to assist any Eligible Advocate, whose difficulty may not have been addressed by the SBI. Please keep all details ready before calling the High Court Helpline.
