• Graduated in Science and in Law from Kanpur University in the year 1973.
• Enrolled as an Advocate in Oct 1973, initially practiced in District Court, Kanpur.
• Appointed in P.C.S. (J) in the year 1978 and promoted in Higher Judicial Service in the year 1994. Promoted in the year 2006 as District & Sessions Judge.
• Worked as Dy. Director, JTRI, UP, Secretary, State Legal Services Authority, UP, Chairman, Admn. Tribunal, UP and Registrar General of Allahabad High Court. Also, he was Secretary of various Inquiry Commissions.
• Received abroad trainings from Royal Institute of Public Admn, London and University of Warwick, UK.
• Elevated as Additional Judge on Apr 13, 2009. Took oath as permanent Judge on Dec 24, 2010.
