• Obtained degree of Bachelor of Arts from Sri Y.N. College, Narsapur, Bachelor of Laws from the Andhra University, Visakhapatnam and LL.M from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur.
• Showed keen interest in sports particularly Tennis and Shuttle Badminton since his college days.
• Enrolled as an Advocate on Aug 20, 1974 and shifted his practice from Narsapur to the High Court of Andhra Pradesh from June, 1975. Specialised in Labour Laws, Co-operative Laws and gained expertise in Constitutional, Civil as well as Criminal matters.
• Nominated as a Panel Advocate for State Bank of Hyderabad and represented Insurance Companies selectively. Appointed as Standing Counsel for APSRTC in the year 1992-93 and also Standing Counsel for Central Silk Board, a Central Government undertaking.
• Appointed as Government Pleader representing Revenue Department in Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal in Jan, 1996 and continued as such till he was transferred and appointed as Government Pleader in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh.
• Appointed as Additional Judge of High Court of Andhra Pradesh on May 17, 1999 and as Judge on Apr 20, 2000. Transferred to Allahabad High Court and took oath on Oct 28, 2010.
