• Joined Darbhanga Bar Association on Dec 03, 1980 and practiced on all sides.
• Joined as Addl. District and Sessions Judge in May, 1991.
• Worked as Member Secretary, I/C, Bihar State Legal Services Authority, Patna. Established 32 Permanent Benches of Lok Adalat in as many judgeships besides drafting Regulations, Schemes etc. on legal services.
• Worked as District & Sessions Judge of the Judgships of Rohtas at Sasaram , Saharsa and Sitamarhi.
• Elevated as Addl. Judge of Patna High Court on Nov 06, 2006, confined as a Permanent Judge in November, 2007. Presided over the Division Bench and was a member to several Divisin Benches and a Full Bench.
• Delivered judgements which are laws laid down by Patna High Court. His judgement on Bihar Special Court Act, 2009 is treated as landmark judgement and guideline on confiscation of properties of public servants accused in Prevention of Corruption Act-cases
• Transferred to Allahabad High Court and took oath on Dec 09, 2011.
