• Graduated in Science in the year 1980 and Law in the year 1983 from Lucknow University.
• Enrolled as an Advocate on Apr 27, 1984.
• Practised mainly in Civil, Constitutional, Service, Educational & Labour Laws at the High Court at Lucknow and Allahabad and the Supreme Court till his elevation to the Bench.
• Served as counsel for UPSEB, Railways, NTPC, SAIL, AICTE, UP State Entrance Admission Test and a number of Educational Institutions apart from a large number of public and private organisations.
• Taught Law in Lucknow University.
• Elevated as Additional Judge on Apr 12, 2013. Took oath as Permanent Judge on Aug 02, 2014.
