• Graduated in Science and Law from Allahabad University.
• Enrolled as an advocate in 1969.
• Practised at Allahabad High Court for about ten years (1969-1979).
• Worked on civil, criminal and constitutional sides.
• Served as Reader in Law and Professor of Law while on deputation at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie . Sent to London by the Academy in connection with a training programme.
• Appointed in Higher Judicial Service in 1979. Posted in 1993 as District and Sessions Judge. Posted as Special Officer (Vigilance), High Court, Allahabad in 1996.
• Elevated as permanent Judge on Feb 05, 1999.
