• Graduated in Law from Delhi University in 1984.
• Enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Delhi in 1984 and started practice on the civil side in District Courts and Delhi High Court.
• After practising for about 13 years joined Delhi Higher Judicial Service in 1997.
• As an Additional District Judge worked on civil cases. Then posted as Addl. Sessions Judge (NDPS) in 2000-2003 and as a Special Judge (CBI) in 2006 where dealt with cases under The Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
• Posted as Registrar(Vigilance), High Court of Delhi in 2006. Served as District Judge-II cum ASJ (Incharge), North District in 2009.
• Again appointed as Registrar(Vigilance), High Court of Delhi w.e.f. 01.05.2010 and then was also appointed as Registrar General, High Court of Delhi in November 2010 and worked as such till elevation.
• Elevated as Additional Judge of Delhi High Court on Apr 17, 2013.
• Took oath as Judge of the High Court of Meghalaya on May 23, 2016.
• Transferred to Allahabad High Court and took oath on Nov 27, 2017.
