• Born on 28th June, 1960 in Varanasi. Graduated in Science from Udai Pratap Mahavidyalaya, Varansi, in 1980. Did his Law Graduation in 1983 from Gorakhpur University. Though born in a family of Government Officers, he was keen to pursue his career as Advocate. Enrolled in the Bar in the year 1984. He practiced in the civil side under Ld. Satish Kant Srivastav, Advocate.
• After gaining vast experience in civil matters, he was appointed as Chief Standing Counsel for Varansi Vikas Pradhikaran and Nagar Nigam, Varanasi.
• Was the 'Central Government and District Government' Counsel and represented various Central and State Government Institutions.
• Represented various Educational Institutions as Counsel and as member in the management committiees. His keen interest in Education also led him to write various articles in Daily Newspapers like Hindustan. His columns on 'Consumer Awareness' were widely read.
• Was appointed in U.P. HJS on 10th June 2005. After serving the Districts of Ballia and Gorakhpur, he was appointed at high Court Lucknow as Joint Registrar (Accounts) and later as Joint Registrar (Listing).
• Since 17th September, 2012, he also served at High Court of Judicature at Allahabad as Joint Registrar (Services) and Joint Registrar (Listing).
• On 5th of May, 2016, appointed as District and Sessions Judge, Sitapur and also served the District of Rae Bareilly as District Judge.
• Was appointed the Senior Registrar, High Court Lucknow, on 22nd of January, 2017.
• Sworn as an Additional Judge of Allahabad High Court on 22nd November, 2018.
• Took oath as Permanent Judge on Nov 20, 2020.
