• Graduated in Arts in the year 1966 from Allahabad University and passed LL.B. in the year 1968 from Allahabad University.

• Appointed in P.C.S.(J) in the year 1970 and promoted in Higher Judicial Service in the year 1982. Promoted in the year 1997 as District & Sessions Judge. Posted at Allahabad High Court as Registrar General from Oct. 2002 to Dec. 2004.
• Elevated as Additional Judge on 03/12/2004. Took oath as permanent Judge on 27/02/2006.
